Mead Hall is the main counter-service operation on the Isle of Berk: a large timber hall with long tables, a broad menu of roasted and grilled plates, and enough capacity to absorb a lunch rush without collapsing. The room is genuinely well built, with a scale that reads as a Viking hall rather than as a food court with beams glued on.
The menu is broad rather than adventurous, which is exactly right for the world it sits in. Roast chicken, ribs, sandwiches, a couple of vegetarian plates and children's options, cooked competently and served fast. Nobody is going to write about the food and every member of a family will find something.
The harborside seating outside is the best outdoor eating at Epic Universe, looking down at the water with the village behind you. On a tolerable day it is worth taking your tray outside rather than staying in the hall.

Yes, though the range is narrower than at The Blue Dragon in the hub. There are vegetarian plates on the standing menu and the counter staff will point out the allergy-friendly options if asked.
